We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the mechanical design of our robust handheld products and accessories. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, lead mechanical development projects, and mentor junior engineers—making a real impact on the future of healthcare and safety technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate product requirements into mechanical solutions
- Participate or contribute to major mechanical development projects
- Design and verify mechanical components and systems—from detailed parts to complete products
- Drive advanced MCAD design in Creo, focusing on molded plastic parts
- Participate in supplier evaluations and tooling decisions
- Support and improve existing product designs
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (UL/ETL/IEC, ISO/FDA)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions
- Continuously improve mechanical engineering processes and documentation
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Proven expertise in CAD tools such as Creo (Pro-E) and SolidWorks
- Experience designing in regulated environments (ISO/FDA)
- Strong background in designing molded plastic components
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent mechanical design and technical problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of product safety regulations and material compliance
- Proficient in applying UL/ETL/IEC standards to product design
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English - both verbal and written
- Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers
- Customer-focused mindset and strong stakeholder management
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
