The Division of Oral Diagnostics and Surgery provides basic education in oral biomedicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral radiology and orofacial medicine. The Division of Oral Diagnostics and Surgery is now looking for a research assistant to join the research group in Oral Biology and Medicine. We are looking for a dentist with experience of working the laboratory environment.
Your mission
In this Research Assistant role you will study oral mucosal lesions. The selected candidate will investigate the underlying mechanisms involved in oral mucosal lesion development and potential malignant progression. The applicant should have experience working with histological and immunological methods. The candidate should show a high level of responsibility and be able to collaborate with others in a team and possess good English communication skills.
Your profile
We are seeking applicants with a strong background in dentistry and oral biomedicine. The ideal candidate should have experience in the following techniques:
- handling and analysing human tissue samples
- experience in cell and molecular biology techniques (e.g. immunohistochemistry, PCR, Western Blot, ELISA)
