ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Gaming - Nordics will be responsible for shaping and driving the gaming strategy across the Nordic region, covering Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of brands and work closely with a dedicated Nordic team to deliver exceptional performance and player experiences.
The successful candidate will ensure alignment with business objectives, oversee the development and execution of engaging propositions, help design innovative promotions, and enhance the product offering to deliver a superior player experience and achieve commercial growth.
As the key stakeholder, this role partners with internal product and gaming teams to represent the Nordic market perspective, helping to shape a customer experience that resonates locally and remains globally scalable.
Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive local gaming strategy for the Nordic portfolio, aligned with the company's overall business goals and market positioning.- Lead the strategic planning process for gaming initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape, customer & regulatory needs, and market trends to adapt and refine the strategy as necessary.
- Define clear short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring measurable targets for success across all gaming brands.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align gaming strategies with marketing, operations, and financial planning.
- Help ensure we operate sustainably within a fast moving regulatory environment
Proposition
- Develop and own the localised gaming proposition strategy for all Nordic brands, tailoring experiences to match individual brand identities and target audiences.
- Analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to define a compelling gaming proposition.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with brand values.
- Identify opportunities to expand the gaming portfolio, including new verticals, partnerships, and innovations.
Campaigns
- Design and oversee the execution of promotional strategies that drive player acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
- Ensure promotions are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with regulatory requirements while enhancing player engagement.
- Work with CRM and analytics teams to measure promotion performance and refine strategies for maximum ROI.
- Develop campaigns that cater to various player segments, balancing mass-market appeal with personalised experiences.
Product
- Help lead the roadmap for the gaming product portfolio across multiple brands to meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with global product teams to drive innovation in game mechanics, UX/UI, and platform features.
- Drive cross-functional efforts to ensure smooth integration of new games and features across platforms.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), using insights to optimise the gaming experience.
- Industry Expertise: Proven tier 1 experience in a senior role within the iGaming industry, with a strong understanding of gaming propositions, promotions, and product management.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to define and execute a clear, innovative gaming strategy that aligns with brand objectives and market opportunities.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of player behaviour and the ability to design strategies that enhance player satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in interpreting data, KPIs, and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to deliver revenue growth and profitability while managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong Familiarity with Nordic regulations and compliance standards.
