What you’ll do at Elekta
As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support across the organization in line with Elekta’s global legal strategy. In addition, you will contribute to Elekta’s digitalization journey by being part of the legal department’s team working with implementing a contracting intelligence tool. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a well-rounded background to contribute to a mission-driven company while expanding your in-house legal experience. Reporting to Elekta’s Regional General Counsel and the global Legal Management Team, you will handle a wide range of legal matters, with your responsibilities expanding as your experience grows. This Stockholm-based role requires occasional international travel (up to 10%).

What you bring
Graduate from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials
About 2 to 5 years of relevant legal experience, including time spent at a reputable law firm or equivalent
Sound and broad knowledge of general business, contract, litigation, capital markets, and commercial law
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills across areas such as hardware sales, software licensing, and professional services
Experience advising internal stakeholders and business partners
A team player working as an integral part of a high performing legal team always in line with Elekta’s core values
Ability to develop and deliver legal training to business clients
Key responsibilities include:
Advising assigned internal clients on legal matters and business decisions
Assisting in the implementation of Elekta’s Contracts Intelligence System (ECIS)
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
Supporting legal aspects of management, sales, product line and contract administration
Counseling business partners on general legal risks, opportunities, and compliance
Working on marketing initiatives, litigation response, and vendor agreements
Supporting training, documentation, and policy execution as needed
