Join Engineers Without Borders at Umeå university as Head of PR
Engineers Without Borders Sweden is a volunteer based and value driven organization Engineering for Humanity. For over 15 years, we have been driven by a single goal: build a sustainable future for communities around the world. With sustainability and long-term thinking as guidance, we mobilize our engineering expertise to provide innovative solutions empowering communities today and ensure their resilience tomorrow. Now, a brand-new local group is launching in Umeå – and we’re looking for you to join our team!
Who We Are Looking For
In your role of Head of PR you will have varied tasks such as:
- Market the organization with Facebook and Instagram.
- Strategic work to increase the number of members and visitors to Engineers Without Borders events.
- Create graphic material such as posters and brochures.
- Participate and photograph at fairs, events etc.
- Strengthen the organization's brand.
- Invitation to member-exclusive social event and meetings.
As Head of PR, you'll be the voice of our local group—leading communications, building our public presence, and fostering strong relationships with our community to help grow a recognizable and impactful EWB chapter from the ground up.
Practical Information
- Start date: As soon as possible, with a flexible onboarding period leading up until the start of the semester.
- Duration: Until May 2026.
- Time commitment: 4 hours per week.
- Location: Umeå university, Umeå.
