The Role - what you'll be doing
As a key member of the Arrive team, you will champion the design vision, inspire creativity, and drive innovation that will shape the future of urban mobility. You will lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver exceptional digital and physical experiences that support our mission to make cities more livable through human-centered solutions. Your work will empower diverse audiences, foster inclusion, and deliver products that simplify and enhance the urban journey for everyone
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear design vision in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Brand teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
- Drive the end-to-end design process for digital products and services, from concept through execution and ongoing optimization
- Mentor and develop a diverse team of designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, high performance, and continuous improvement
- Advocate for user-centered, data-driven design decisions using a balance of qualitative and quantitative research
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-impact solutions with measurable outcomes
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to ideate and test innovative approaches to solve real-world mobility problems
- Champion design best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design methodologies
Evangelize the important role of design both internally and with external partners, customers, and communities
Your background
- Proven track record in leading design teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences across digital products and services
- Significant experience in UX, UI, product design, or service design; experience in urban mobility, transportation, smart cities, or SaaS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions with an emphasis on usability and simplicity
- Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of design skills and strategic impact
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills; able to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Experience with design systems and tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Ability to inspire and influence others while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture

This role is based in any of these three locations: Sweden (Stockhom), Poland (Lodz) or Netherlands (Amsterdam)
