My name is Katherine Gonzalez , and I lead the Deployment & Integration unit at Telia Sweden. Our team is entrusted with the critical task of building, modernizing, and integrating Sweden’s mobile radio network. We are now looking for a new Site Project Manager to join our energetic Deployment & Integration team and who knows? Maybe you are just the candidate we are looking for!
About the Role
As a Site Project Manager, you’ll play a key part in securing the right locations, overseeing construction, and ensuring top quality—so our mobile networks continue to perform at a world-class level.
You’ll be responsible for the establishment of mobile network sites from site identification to completion, including permit management, coordination with authorities and contractors, and monitoring of construction, quality, safety, and economics. You will become part of a team consisting of 8 highly trained professionals, each dedicated to the successful planning, execution, and delivery of network deployment projects. The position is based at Telia’s headquarters in Solna, Stockholm , offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment at the heart of our operations.
Work task includes, but isn’t limited to:
- Ensure everything is delivered under the timelines, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinate with contractors, technical teams, and project managers
- Identify and secure locations for mobile infrastructure (towers, mast, rooftops, etc.)
- Manage permits, agreements, and communication with authorities
- Lead construction projects from start to finish—including groundwork and installation
Who we’re Looking For
We imagine you have +5 years of experience in a similar role and may be working as a project manager/coordinator/leader today.
Also, you have solid experience in construction or telecom projects and the ability to navigate complex regulations and permitting processes. Furthermore, you have worked with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and understand financial risks in construction projects.
As a person, you have natural leadership skills and takes responsibility and initiative with your project. You have strong communicative and collaborative skills and are solution focused, even when things become trickier. Finally, you are a fast learner and can adapt to a changing environment.
