Product Group Manager, Dog and Cat treats

Are you passionate about pets and driven by category growth and innovation? We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Product Group Manager to lead the development, growth, and profitability of our dog and cat treats category across markets.

As Product Group Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and development of the dog and cat treats category. You will work closely with colleagues in all Musti markets as well as with external partners, to ensure successful product launches, customer satisfaction, and continuous category growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead category development and assortment planning for dog and cat treats.
  • Develop and manage Own, Exclusive, and Global brands within the category.
  • Define pricing strategies and collaborate with suppliers.
  • Conduct market, consumer, and competitor analyses to optimize performance.
  • Manage product information and ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on category performance and KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in category development and product management.
  • Strong skills in consumer insight, project management, and commercial thinking.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the pet industry is highly valued; experience in pet feeding products is considered a strong plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work in a structured way even under pressure. You enjoy collaboration, are curious about consumer behavior, and have a genuine interest in pet well-being.

Why to join our Pack

We offer you diverse and inspiring work in a rapidly growing and evolving business — one of the leading pet retail companies in the Nordics. At Musti Group, you’ll be surrounded by passionate people and furry colleagues, and yes — your own four-legged friend is welcome at the office too!

As the Product Group Manager for dog and cat treats, you’ll step into a key role where your strategic thinking and passion for pets will directly shape one of the most exciting and fast-growing categories in our business. You will have a chance to lead innovation in a field that brings joy to pets and their families every day.

Here’s what makes this opportunity special:

  • Make a real impact: You’ll have full ownership of the dog and cat treats category - from strategy to execution. Your decisions will drive growth, shape consumer experiences, and influence the future of pet wellness across the Nordics.
  • Lead with purpose: You’ll work with a portfolio of beloved brands and play a key role in developing trusted own-brand products that pet parents love. Together, we’ll create treats that truly make tails wag.
  • Cross-Market collaboration: Collaborate with talented colleagues across all Musti markets. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that values creativity, data-driven thinking, and shared success.
  • Room to grow: Whether you’re looking to deepen your category expertise or product development skills, we support your growth every step of the way.
  • Work culture: We believe in a warm, supportive culture where everyone can be themselves. With us, your work truly makes a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

If you’re ready to take the lead in a role that combines strategic ownership, innovation, and a love for pets we’d love to hear from you. Please apply as soon as possible, but no later than 17.8.2025. Main location is in Käpylä, Helsinki or in Stockholm, Solna. We often have dogs in the office; therefore the work might not be suitable for a person who is allergic to pets.
