As Pricing Manager, you will be the go-to expert on all pricing-related matters for the Swedish SME market. You will collaborate closely with the Swedish marketing and sales teams, as well as the Nordic pricing team, to ensure that customers receive competitive, transparent, and well-structured pricing.
In addition to individual account pricing, your role will involve analytical work related to the SME merchant portfolio. You’ll explore market trends, identify new opportunities, and support strategic decision-making by analyzing portfolio performance and customer-specific factors.
Your success in this role will be defined by your ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies, deliver high-quality and timely pricing analyses, and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Managing Pricing Strategies - Take ownership of pricing for the Swedish SME customer segment to meet financial targets related to pricing and portfolio margins.
- Optimizing Pricing Models - Create pricing solutions for new products and bundled service packages that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Customer Repricing - Develop and execute repricing plans for existing customers to align with financial and strategic goals.
- Portfolio Analysis - Analyse the performance of the SME portfolio to understand trends, reduce churn, and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration - Work closely with local and Nordic pricing teams to implement pricing tools, processes, and model changes.
- Stakeholder Communication - Present business cases and pricing strategies for new and existing customer segments, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence - Drive best practices in pricing intelligence and stay ahead of market trends to maximize opportunities in the Swedish market.
Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- A degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in pricing, controlling, or a similar analytical role. Experience in the payments or financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VBA skills are a bonus).
- Proficient in PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Analytical Mindset:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data to draw actionable conclusions.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
