Your role
We are looking for a Manager of Antenna Design and Measurements within the department Microwave and Antenna Design. The Manager of Antenna Design and Measurements is design responsible for all antenna elements and apertures developed within the unit. As Manager of Antenna Design and Measurements you will be part of the Management Team and report to Head of Microwave and Antenna Design. In the Management Team each member contributes with their individual experiences and skills to create an effective and dynamic environment. You are expected to work with your individual area of responsibility and as a member of the Management Team also interact and take part in the challenges of other groups.
As Manager of Antenna Design and Measurements, you will also be responsible for three antenna test ranges, which serves all antenn products at Surveillance both during development and series production.
Cooperation with other groups, departments and business units is key in order to succeed.
You will effectively hold, develop and continually evolve the ways of working.
You identify new key trends and continuously improve the way we implement complex systems.
You inspire and motivate people and maintain the technical culture to attract top technical talent.

Antenna Design and Measurements currently has 16 employees.
As member of the Management Team of Microwave and Antenna Design, you will be part of one of Europe’s leading development teams in the field of microwave and antennas. We are design responsible for the analogue high frequency parts of our products including antenna elements, PBAs, modules, integrated circuits etc. Microwave and Antenna Design is the hub of high frequency competence within Saab, serving all other business units with resources and knowledge. We have development teams in both Göteborg and Stockholm and collaborate with teams in other countries regularly. You will on daily basis interact and collaborate with developers of the most advanced radar and electronic warfare systems available.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
