At Vitamin Well Group HQ in Stockholm, the Global Product Development department is responsible for creating the products behind our brands. With over 50 new launches annually, the team leads the formulation work that defines taste, texture, and function—making sure each product delivers on what our brands stand for. Working closely with co-manufacturers and suppliers, they develop and refine recipes that are ready to perform in real production and in real markets.

About the role
This is a hands-on product development role for someone who knows how to create products that taste great, perform consistently, and scale. You will lead the development process from first brief to final formulation; shaping product design, refining concepts, and ensuring technical viability through industrial production. The focus is always on the products - its flavour, texture, function, and commercial fit.
In short your responsibilities will be:
- Lead product development from idea to industrially scaled product—either across our full portfolio or within a specific brand or category.
- Create, adapt, and optimise formulations with a sharp focus on taste, texture, functionality, and technical feasibility—whether hands-on or in close collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Plan and carry out sensory testing to validate and refine recipes quickly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot formulation or process challenges using a methodical, data-informed approach.
- Ensure all development decisions align with brand positioning, regulatory requirements, and commercial targets.
- Work closely with colleagues across brand, quality, and sourcing to secure swift and precise execution.
This is not a role for those who outsource flavour decisions. It is for those who own them.

Who are you
- A degree in Food Science or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in the food or beverage industry, with clear responsibility for:
- Full-cycle product development, including technical formulation and sensory validation.
- Delivering market-ready products that meet both brand and regulatory expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a methodical approach to formulation and optimisation.
- A structured way of working that handles shifting priorities without losing focus.
- A hands-on mindset, combined with clarity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Fluency in English. Swedish is a plus, not a must.
