The Role
We’re seeking an AI & Legal Researcher to enhance our platform’s AI capabilities and ensure legal accuracy. If you combine legal knowledge with research skills and an interest in AI, this role is for you.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- AI Research: Investigate state-of-the-art AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, NLP) to improve dispute resolution tools.
- Legal Research: Ensure AI outputs align with legal standards, case law, and regulations across jurisdictions.
- Data Optimization: Collaborate with PONS engineers to refine legal data collection, cleaning, and indexing for AI models.
- Feature Validation: Test and validate AI-driven features for legal accuracy and usability.
- Collaboration: Work with Legal Engineers and Software Engineers to integrate research findings into the PONS Application.
- Documentation: Create reports and guidelines on AI performance and legal landscape for internal teams and clients.
- Innovation: Stay updated on legal tech trends and propose enhancements to platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Law, Data Science, or related field; JD or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 2+ years in legal research or AI-related research.
- Familiarity with dispute resolution processes or legal tech.
- Knowledge of AI tools (LLMs) or data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in legal research tools.
- Ability to translate legal and AI concepts for cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication in a fast-paced environment.
