Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson M&A is responsible for driving the company’s M&A activities globally. This includes acquisitions, divestments and minority investments, and our responsibilities range from strategy and valuation to execution and follow-up across all Ericsson Business Areas. Ericsson’s M&A unit also include Ericsson Ventures which invests in tech start-ups, with focus on the US.

As an intern within M&A, you will be supporting team members with project deliverables while gaining insight into the full M&A process, from strategy, transaction and negotiation, to integration. You are expected to work as an integral part of the M&A team helping Ericsson hands-on in its engagements and thereby gain unparalleled experience from international corporate M&A within a technology-centric setting.

You will
  • Perform financial analysis and valuation of acquisition and divestment candidates
  • Target screening in close collaboration with business areas
  • Support in execution of global transaction processes
  • Prepare decision documentation for senior management and Board of Directors
To be successful in the role you must have
  • A second/third year BSc or first year MSc with good records
  • A strategic and problem-solving approach
  • Excellent financial analysis skills & business acumen
  • A teammate attitude with an excellent drive and can-do demeanor
  • Proficient in English with strong ability to communicate and present
  • Flexibility to travel globally when needed
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Previous experience from M&A (beneficial but not required)
