Total Reward Expert - Nordic countries
As EMEA Total Reward, we are a regional expert function partnering with Group Total Reward to enhance local reward processes. We ensure market trends and compensation practices align with SKF’s Total Reward Philosophy and Strategy, focusing on internal equity and market competitiveness.
Your responsibility
As the Expert for Country Total Reward in the Nordics (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway), you'll play a key role in developing programs and policies to attract and retain talented professionals, supporting SKF’s mission and business strategy. Your solutions will impact people and business results, considering internal equity and market competitiveness.
You will be part of both the Swedish Country HR team and the EMEA Country Total Reward team, working on regional projects and activities. Benchmarking and aligning best practices across countries, you will support colleagues, managers, and employees in Rewarding, backed by data and at the same time you will ensure processes comply with local laws, regulations, and union agreements.
What you can expect in the role
- Analyse and model merit and other salary increases impacting business KPIs
- Gather and interpret market data to evaluate the organization's competitive stance and promote adjustments in SKF’s policies and programs.
- Provide support for job evaluation according to our IPE methodology
- Guide the implementation of variable pay-incentive programs and ensure their administration aligns with company guidelines, governance, and legal obligations.
- Design and support local pension, car policy, insurance, benefits, superannuation, and retirement programs in collaboration with other departments, depending on the country size.
- Partner with regional and local expert networks to enhance knowledge exchange and coordinate projects that are beneficial to all participants.
- Guide, coach, and support managers and the HR community to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and union agreements, while increasing awareness of the rewarding agenda within the organization.
- Use reward analytics to provide a fact-based overview of internal trends and advise all internal stakeholders on reward topics.
What you bring
- An academic degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or another relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or a related field in an international environment
- Proficient data analytics abilities: your capacity to gather and interpret data is essential together with advanced skills in Excel and possibly in data visualization tools like Power BI
- Good knowledge of Job Evaluation methodologies (e.g. IPE) and global grading structures and experience working with Success Factor
- Effective communication skills along with fluency in English and Swedish
- Ability to show leadership in your area of expertise, showing high integrity and trustworthiness in all your actions and decisions

The position will be located in Sweden, Gothenburg, on local contract and reporting to the EMEA Total Reward Manager, who is located in Italy.
