Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Leader to lead the strategic development, operational excellence, and growth of our construction and infrastructure insurance practice. This senior leadership role involves overseeing client relationships, business development, and team management across multiple countries.
The main skills would be a deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to position Marsh as a market leader in construction risk management and insurance solutions in the Nordics region.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Nordic Construction & Infrastructure practice, aligning with global and regional objectives.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of industry experts, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding Marsh’s presence in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Provide technical expertise in construction project insurance, including large-scale infrastructure, EU projects, and emerging technologies.
Manage and oversee key client accounts, ensuring delivery of tailored risk management and insurance solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across underwriting, claims, and broking teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to keep the practice at the forefront of the market.
Lead initiatives to enhance operational processes, risk assessment methodologies, and client engagement strategies.
Represent Marsh at industry events, forums, and in strategic partnerships across the Nordics.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and infrastructure insurance, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure and EU project portfolios.
Strong strategic thinking, business development, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated success in managing teams and developing high-performance cultures.
Deep industry knowledge of construction project management, risk assessment, and insurance solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English; Nordic language skills are highly preferred
Based preferably in Sweeden with regional responsibility across the Nordic countries
