As a Privacy Lawyer you will join the Nordic Data Protection Office where you will report to the Nordic Data Protection Officer, be part of the Nordic Legal Team, and collaborate closely with Capgemini’s global DPO and Legal communities. The role is embedded within Capgemini’s structured data protection organization, led by the Group DPO and supported by regional and local officers.
In this position you will play a key role in:
- Ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
- Leading a broad range of privacy initiatives, including implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Capgemini’s data protection framework, policies, and Binding Corporate Rules across the Nordics.
- Providing legal advice on data protection, including privacy and risk assessments, supporting RFI/RFP processes, and reviewing and negotiating contractual clauses in larger deals.
- Raising privacy awareness through training sessions as well as by informing and advising staff to ensure compliance.
Your profile
- University degree in Law or equivalent education.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, with expertise in GDPR and preferably experience handling privacy matters across the Nordics for international organizations.
- Structured and organized, with project management skills, integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to upholding professional ethics and Group-wide standards.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good presentation skills with fluency in English; proficiency in Nordic languages is a plus.
- An interest in information technology, AI, systems and infrastructure.
