Valmet is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager for a new role as part of our new business model. In this role, you will lead and drive significant organizational change, offering you the opportunity to influence and shape the future of our organization.
You will be at the forefront of driving efficiency and innovation in People Operations across nine countries. Leading a team of HR Generalists, you will ensure the development, simplification, and alignment of HR processes and policies across multiple countries. Your ability to navigate complex HR challenges and implement strategic solutions will be essential in achieving our goal of creating a more efficient and cohesive People Operations function.
The position is based in Sweden, preferable in Gothenburg and reports to the Director, People Operations, North Europe. You will work closely with a great HR team, including HR Managers, HR Generalists and other relevant stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 8+ HR Generalists across North Europe.
- Implement and oversee Valmet’s new HR operating model.
- Develop, simplify, and align HR processes and policies across multiple countries.
- Ensure the human touch is maintained during key employment lifecycle events.
- Drive efficiency in People Operations through innovative solutions.
Expectations:
- Proven track record in leading operational change within the team and towards HR clients (line managers and employees).
- Operational excellence in employment lifecycle matters: development, simplification, and alignment of HR processes and policies across countries.
- Experience in managing a large international team, including performance and workload management, talent development, etc.
- Eye for detail and complexity in employment lifecycle matters, with the ability to prioritize.
- Language skills: English and Swedish are a must; German is preferred.
- Positive change mindset with a candid and constructive approach to challenging the status quo.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to build credibility across the organization within the region.
- People leader with the ability to create a psychologically safe environment, showing flexibility and fostering collaboration across various stakeholders.
