Steen & Strøm in Sweden, is looking for a Temporary Marketing Officer (1 year) to join the Shopping Center Team, located at Marieberg Galleria in Örebro.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Marketing Officer, you are responsible for implementing Marieberg Galleria's marketing and communication strategy in close collaboration with our Center Manager, Coordinator, Central Marketing Department and your colleagues in the management team at the center. You run campaigns, plan events and create content that puts Marieberg Galleria on the map – and in the hearts of our approximately 4 million annual visitors.
Your perimeter of responsibilities will include:
- Plan, implement and develop marketing and communication strategies/campaigns in consultation with other functions within the marketing department centrally.
- Develop and lead campaigns, newsletters, activities, and events.
- Reporting and follow-up to all stakeholders
- Surveys to analyze e.g. buying habits, trends, and preferences.
- Work to ensure that Marieberg Galleria has a good collaboration with tenants, visitors and society at large.
- Be responsible for content and social media presence.
- Lead collaborations with external agencies in digital and creative production.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a driven and organized marketer with a sense of both the big picture and details, as well as an interest in the entire breadth of marketing. You like to take the initiative, challenge the existing and drive projects all the way to the finish line – always with retail and the visitor in focus.
In particular:
- Relevant experience in marketing and project management, preferably from retail or events
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A good understanding of digital channels and how to create communication that drives results.
- A habit of working both strategically and operationally – you enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing
- An obvious team player who also dares to lead the way.
- Communicative, curious, and positive
- Used to collaborating across different functions.
- A creative force that keeps up to date with new trends
It is not crucial what education you have – the most important thing is that you are structured, business oriented and love to see ideas take shape.

- Start date: 1st of September or as soon as possible, 1 year contract Location: Based in Marieberg Galleria in Örebro.
