WHO ARE YOU?
-Experienced in payroll delivery — you have solid knowledge of Swedish payroll legislation and practices, and experience working with or alongside payroll vendors. Experience with payroll in other Nordic countries is a strong plus
-Detail-oriented and structured — you care about accuracy, deadlines, and getting things right, even when processes are complex or time-sensitive.
-Great at collaborating — you’re comfortable working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, external providers, and managers to make things run smoothly.
-A proactive problem-solver — you see challenges as opportunities to improve, and you don’t hesitate to flag risks or suggest better ways of working.
-Tech-savvy — you’re familiar with digital tools like Workday and ServiceNow (or similar systems), and understand how data flows between systems.
-Fluent in Swedish and English — essential for working with local legislation, vendors, and Nordic teams.
WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?
As Payroll Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of payroll delivery in Sweden, working closely with our external payroll provider, internal stakeholders, and your team.
Your week will typically include:
- Coordinating and validating payroll input and output, ensuring correct and timely salary payments
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees and managers in Sweden
- Collaborating with HR, Finance, and our external vendor to solve cases, improve processes, and ensure compliance
- Maintaining data accuracy in Workday and making sure HR and payroll information flows seamlessly
If you have experience with payroll in other Nordic countries, that’s a strong advantage — we work closely across borders, and your insights can help us create more unified and efficient ways of working across the region.
You’ll be part of the Nordic People Operations team, a supportive and collaborative group of Payroll and HR specialists working together to deliver great employee experiences. The team spans Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, and we meet regularly to align, improve, and support each other.
