About You & The Role
As Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support restaurant teams to deliver strong results, outstanding guest experiences, and operational excellence. The role blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic business planning, driving performance across P&L management, team development, & guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Operational Performance:
1. Take full ownership of each restaurant’s P&L, with focus on:
- Labour costs and productivity
- Cost of goods, ensuring alignment with HQ-set theoretical food & beverage costs
- Identifying and eliminating losses, wastage, and inefficiencies
- Managing and optimising all variable costs
2. Drive revenue through proactive planning, local initiatives, and ensuring service
efficiency
People & Leadership:
- Recruit, onboard, and develop strong, motivated teams
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development
- Plan staffing according to season, sales, and business needs
- Coach and prepare future leaders through training and succession planning
- Ensure staff well-being and manage HR processes in line with Swedish labour law
Guest Experience:
- Achieve and continuously improve NPS, Google Reviews, and internal guest satisfaction KPIs
- Ensure consistent delivery of UIG service standards across all restaurants
- Support GMs in handling guest feedback and maintaining a guest-first culture
Compliance & Standards:
1. Ensure all restaurants operate in compliance with:
- Labour law and employment regulations
- Food safety and hygiene legislation
- Alcohol legislation
- Health & safety regulations
2. Maintain responsibility for site maintenance and upkeep, ensuring operational readiness at all times
3. Oversee seasonal operational tasks, such as terrace setup and closures
Business Planning & Growth:
1. Collaborate with HQ and Director of Operations on quarterly business planning for each site, covering:
- Recruitment pipelines
- Revenue-driving initiatives
- Seasonal staffing and housing needs (apartments for seasonal staff)
- Support openings, renovations, and brand rollouts as required
