Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
Develop automated scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
Execute test plans and strategies using modern automation tools
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure effective test coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Conduct exploratory testing and reduce manual testing through automation
Analyze test results, report defects, and assist in troubleshooting
Continuously improve test automation practices, tools, and processes
Required Qualifications
Solid experience in test automation for web and desktop applications
Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, or Cypress
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and version control systems
Understanding of QA methodologies and software testing best practices
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, NX, or Polarion is a plus
Meriting Skills
Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
ISTQB or equivalent certification
Exposure to agile development and DevOps environments
Additional Information
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: Long-term assignment with possibility of extension
Work setup: 3 days on-site (Ludvika, Västerås, or Göteborg), hybrid flexibility can be discussed
Language: English (Swedish is not mandatory)
