We are now seeking a Sustainability & Compliance Specialist to strengthen our sustainability reporting and data management capabilities, contributing to our commitment to responsible business and transparency.
About the Role
As a Sustainability & Compliance Specialist, you will support the preparation of sustainability disclosures in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and with the EU Taxonomy regulation. You will work closely with internal functions including Group Sustainability, HR, Finance, and our three business areas — AirTech, FoodTech and Data Center Technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection, quality assurance, and consolidation of sustainability data from multiple internal stakeholders and systems.
- Support the preparation and drafting of the annual sustainability disclosures, ensuring alignment with CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy requirements.
- Collaborate with the Sr Sustainability and Compliance specialist to enhance internal reporting processes and controls.
- Collaborate with Internal stakeholders to update our climate scenario analysis and double materiality assessment
- Assist in external sustainability reporting frameworks like CDP and customer surveys
- Maintain documentation and records to support auditability of sustainability data.
- Act as an internal contact point for reporting-related topics, supporting colleagues across business areas and corporate functions.
- Monitor developments in sustainability regulation and standards and contribute to internal implementation efforts.
Your Profile
- University degree in sustainability, engineering, finance, economics, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data handling, or compliance.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy is highly meritorious.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
