DeLaval Sourcing is a team of 60 sourcing professionals located in Europe, Americas and China. Here you get the opportunity to work internationally.
You will play a key role in creating long term sourcing strategies within Category Electronics, to define and execute plans to meet the objective of developing the optimal supplier base for DeLaval – today and in future.
Key responsibilities
- Create and implement strategies for the sub-categories with Electronics.
- Overall responsible for the assigned suppliers.
- Contract management (create, maintain, terminate).
- Deliver on KPI’s like cost savings, contract coverage, payment terms, Quality, Sustainability; overall supplier performance in accordance with our Supplier Score Card.
- Define strategic sourcing opportunities and work with Product owners, Engineering, Factories and Logistics to execute.
Qualifications and experience
You are a person with great commercial interest and a passion for doing business while staying close to the technology. You are analytical, structured, take own initiatives and with ability to handle multiple things at the same time.
You are good at maintaining relationships and like to represent sourcing in cross functional teams as well as towards suppliers in a professional way. You are also self-driven with high integrity and contribute to the development of the team. Within all these areas of competence you have previous experience within strategic sourcing in an international environment.
We expect you to have an academic degree or equivalent.
As the role involves communication with global suppliers, you are fluent in English, and preferably also in Swedish.
