Job Description
To support the growth and adoption of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), we are seeking a Full-Time Consultant (FTC) to join as a Software Engineer / Application Expert. The consultant will collaborate closely with business, operations, and engineering teams to ensure a high-performance, scalable, and secure CDP setup that enables data-driven marketing globally.
This is a hands-on and cross-functional role, suitable for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to navigate both technical and business contexts. The consultant will manage configuration, resolve incidents, improve data models, and support CDP governance.
Responsibilities
Act as first-line support for CDP platform issues; diagnose and resolve incidents affecting data flows, segmentation, and audience delivery.
Monitor platform performance and data syncs; identify and address inefficiencies.
Manage platform configuration, access controls (RBAC), and ensure alignment with governance models and GDPR compliance.
Collaborate with data engineers/analysts to support pipelines, integrations, and model updates (esp. BigQuery, dbt, Terraform).
Maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases for troubleshooting and onboarding.
Conduct regular QA checks on audience use cases to ensure data quality and integrity.
Qualifications
Experience with CDPs (e.g., Hightouch, Segment, Mparticle, ActionIQ).
Strong understanding of customer data activation (segmentation, identity resolution, campaign delivery).
Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis across data platforms.
Familiarity with GCP stack: BigQuery, dbt, Terraform.
Knowledge of data governance and GDPR compliance.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across both tech and business teams.
Flexible, proactive mindset; able to adapt to shifting priorities in a cross-functional environment.
