Our Nordics Investment business has experienced strong, sustained growth and has a robust pipeline of opportunities across Sweden and the broader Nordic region. We are now looking for a Senior Investment Sales professional to continue driving this momentum - particularly in the Swedish institutional market.
Your Impact
As Senior Investment Sales, Nordics, you will play a critical role in accelerating commercial success by expanding our client base and deepening strategic relationships. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across solutions, portfolio management, consulting, and operations – and bring a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset to every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Expand the Swedish and Nordic sales pipeline with a focus on institutional investors and financial intermediaries
Lead and coordinate key sales initiatives, prospect meetings, and proposal development
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on asset allocation, risk management, and implementation strategies
Execute Mercer’s go-to-market strategy and align with strategic business development goals
Leverage relationships across the Marsh McLennan ecosystem to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
Champion a high-quality client service experience and support long-term client retention and growth
Work closely with colleagues in Sweden and across the region to deliver investment services seamlessly
Contribute to ad hoc commercial projects and market development efforts as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in institutional asset management sales (min. 5 years), with measurable success in raising assets under management (AuM)
In-depth knowledge of the investment landscape including traditional and alternative asset classes
Strong understanding of client segments such as pension funds, insurers, wealth managers, and other asset owners
Demonstrated ability to build and manage commercial relationships, lead sales processes and close complex deals
Education & Technical Skills
Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Additional industry certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous
Core Competencies
Commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindset
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels — both internally and externally
Ethical, proactive, and self-driven with a high level of integrity
