Work tasks
At Mycronic, we work exclusively in projects, lasting from a few months up to a year, depending on the scope of the project. Your primary task will be to lead and drive our development of algorithms in image analysis, including cross-disciplinary aspects of lithography. You are expected to have an interest of continuously following and learning from developments in-house as well as from works published by the scientific community in general.
Examples of work tasks include:
- Problem analysis and formulation of strategies for algorithms within the field of image analysis.
- Implementation of code for image analysis, image formation and general signal processing.
- Evaluation of early concepts for their feasibility of implementation.
- Risk assessment (primarily FMEA) and suggestions for further investigations.
- Collaboration with other groups and disciplines.
- Following and contributing to the development of project plans.
Also, you are strongly encouraged to engage in the experimental developments in our production facilities in Täby, if not for the sake of learning how your ideas might fit into microlithographic equipment for the semiconductor industry.
We are looking for
The person we are looking for is for a senior position in research and development in the complex field of pattern generation and inspection. You have:
- A PhD in computing science, engineering physics or similar.
- An interest and capability to dive into complex problems which not always are clear to describe from the beginning.
- A genuine passion for algorithms and mathematics, and how to implement theory into something useful.
- Good communication skills in English.
We’re looking for people to join our talented, motivated and friendly team on the cutting-edge. Here, in an open, collaborative and flexible environment, you’ll work alongside leading industry experts and take on challenging projects that bring tomorrow’s electronics to life.
