Assignment Description
The Senior Commercial Advisor will provide commercial expertise to the Business Tech product organization to deliver business value throughout the product life cycle. This role involves bringing rigor to business cases, executing deals to achieve objectives, and optimizing ongoing relationships with external partners.
The Commercial Advisor demonstrates strong leadership, thrives in a collaborative and transparent culture, and works with a focus on value creation, growth, and serving customers with full ownership and accountability—delivering exceptional customer and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate with external partners to secure advantageous terms.

Screen potential new partners and collaborations relevant to the product area.

Work with product leaders to define and secure business cases.

Establish the most effective commercial models or cooperation types for each business case.

Manage collaboration and performance according to frameworks, assessing risks against expected business outcomes.

Perform risk management for partner and vendor contracts and agreements.

Devise negotiation strategies and determine the most suitable processes for each deal.

Identify deal structures to meet objectives, balancing risk aversion and optionality.

Oversee deal-making processes such as RFPs, tenders, and time planning.

Support the setup of governance and collaboration between product stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical skills (KPIs, business case construction).

Strategic thinker able to connect business case objectives with execution actions.

Problem-solving capabilities with a pragmatic approach.

Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills, including constructive challenge.

Ability to plan and bring cross-functional teams along.

Proactive, results-oriented, pragmatic, and efficient.

International deal-making experience.

Familiarity with a wide range of deal structures.
