About us
RISE Computer Science department is the leading Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence lab in Sweden. You will be joining a unit working with Space, Quantum- and High Performance Computing. Together with partners and customers from industry and academia we develop sustainable systems at the frontier of applied science.
About MIMER
The AI factory MIMER is designed as a complete environment for AI development – with support to develop, test and implement and will help with all parts from ensuring data quality to launching an AI solution. MIMER will focus on four key areas where Sweden has particular strengths and growth potential: game development, autonomous systems, life sciences and materials science.
Start-up companies and SMEs get access to, among other things:
- High-performance compute resources to train and scale AI models
- Hands-on AI expertise from leading scientists and engineers
- Data, tools, and collaboration platforms
- Workshops, bootcamps and skills development
- Some business support to bring innovation to market
About the role
You will be manager of a project with a large (30+ people) and agile team of researchers and experts with diverse backgrounds and a shared passion for bringing the benefits of AI to societal benefit through training, mentoring, consulting and hands-on proof-of-concept projects.
The role involves close collaboration and coordination with Linköpings universitet, which is the host organisation, as well as other countries' AI factories.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of the AI Factory strategy, including the development of the service portfolio, establishing collaborations and identifying new user communities.
The location of the position is Kista and will involve travels, mainly within Sweden and EU.
About you
Requirements:
- Experience from the European R&I landscape and European collaborations
- PhD is meriting but not a requirement
- MSc in natural sciences, computer science, data science, machine learning or related areas.
- PM2 certification or equivalent
- Experience of management of large and complex projects
- Excellent communication skills in English and (preferably) Swedish
- Strong communication and team working skills
