DeLaval is looking for a Production Planner for the Tumba Factory
The DeLaval Automatic milking system VMS/V300 is produced in the Tumba Factory as a sequenced product, and has been so for many years. The production line, as part of the whole factory has an award-winning efficiency and is constantly aiming to become even better.
We are now looking for an interim Production Planner for a 1-year parental leave cover, who, together with the planning, and logistics team will strengthen the planning processes in the factory.
Key responsibilities:
- Supply the production with the proper operative planning on a short-/mid- and long-term basis
- Receive and process direct customer orders
- Work with improving the inventory stock, MRP settings and way of working within planning and procurement
- Work with projects affecting the logistics of the Tumba Factory.
- Take part in bigger projects as representative of the Tumba factory in planning related projects
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor of higher degree within relevant fields.
- Analytical and experienced in handling larger amounts of data
- Experience of planning within Manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of:
- SAP
- Microsoft Excel
- Experience of the following will be considered a plus:
- LEAN Manufacturing
The successful candidate should also:
- Take initiatives and be accustomed to work in groups as well as independently
- Be fluent in English, writing as well as speaking
- Have a structured way of approaching challenges

Additional information
The position will be located in Tumba, Stockholm, and as part of an European Production Planning team, reporting to Gustav Nordlander, Manager Production Planning Europe.
