The Product Transfer Scientist is responsible leading, supervising, and participating in projects and other activities, e.g. resource and time line planning, throughout the life cycle of Cepheid’s products. Being a part of collaborations and act as a technical partner to all departments within the organization, both locally and globally. We are looking for someone who can engage and empower fellow colleagues in the organization.
This position is part of Technical Operations and will be located in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate, lead, and participate in projects
- Changes to manufacturing processes and test procedures
- Updates of BOMs, procedures and worksheets
- Investigations, troubleshooting and risk assessments
- Initial assessment of requests/tasks
- Implementation of changes to customer facing items, such as product labels
- Test method validations/Process Validation, and Qualifications
The essential requirements of the job include:
- MS or BS in Life Sciences with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Molecular Biology Techniques including PCR
- Excellent communication skills both in Swedish & English (oral and written)
- Experience from leading or coordinating projects
- Ability to successfully interact with cross-functional teams in a global environment
- Experience within Operations/Manufacturing and/or from working in a regulated environment (ISO or GMP)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with medical device regulations in US and CE markets
- Experience within validation/qualification and/or Change Control
This position is a temporary position due to parental leave until 2026-09-30.
