We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Pricing Markdown Recommender team, which is responsible for delivering price path recommendations for online sales periods. This role involves working hands-on with machine learning systems to ensure optimal pricing strategies for various articles throughout the sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ML systems that generate price path recommendations aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data engineers to ensure smooth ML operations, proactively addressing challenges and incidents.
- Continuously monitor and improve system performance during sales periods to maximize business impact.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills and deep expertise in machine learning, particularly in forecasting and also mathematical optimization.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to independently analyze system behavior and its impact on business outcomes.
- Proven ability to tackle loosely defined problems and drive system improvements in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
