About the Role
Since 2022, we have significantly strengthened our focus on protecting innovation through intellectual property, including patents, design rights, and trademarks. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding the Patent Department.
As a Patent Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our international patent portfolio. You will be responsible for the administrative and procedural handling of our patent activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
Your Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Administration of patent applications
Filing patent applications and responses to Office Actions
Reporting Office Actions from patent offices
Handling correspondence with external patent agencies
Monitoring and tracking deadlines and legal time limits
Reminding internal stakeholders of upcoming deadlines
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who is:
Strong in both communication and administration
Well-organized and detail-oriented, with a high sense of responsibility
Able to work independently and proactively
Comfortable working in an international, digital environment
Qualifications & Experience
Certification as a Patent Paralegal (or equivalent) is preferred
However, relevant experience is more important than formal education
Proven experience with patent administration systems is essential
Previous experience as:
In-house Patent Administrator at an industrial company, or
Patent Administrator at a patent agency
Language Requirements
Fluency in written English is essential
Knowledge of Swedish, Chinese or Japanese is an advantage
