As an Online Merchandiser you will be a part of a team creating and developing the future of e-commerce. Your main responsibility is to optimize the customer offer in our online channel to ensure a positive customer experience and maximize selling and profitability, aligned with overall goals and strategies. At ARKET, the Online Merchandiser also has the scope of the visual presentation by creating inspiring and updated destinations in the online store.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform sales, web, and search analysis to understand customer behaviour and act on insights
- Set goals and drive commercial focus, including newsletter content for your concept
- Develop and execute sale strategies aligned across channels, ensuring cost-effective implementation
- Create inspiring and updated destinations in the online store, aligned with brand and communication strategies
- Ensure products are presented at the right time, in the right context, with clear and compelling material
- Maintain and update department pages and categories with relevant content based on current sales and newsletter focus
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive sales, partnering with store, brand, buying, logistics, publishing, and customer service teams
- Continuously improve ways of working using merchandising best practices

You will collaborate closely with the E-commerce, Brand & Communication, Buying, Planning, and Content teams. Together, you’ll ensure a seamless and commercially strong online experience for ARKET’s customers.

We are looking for people with…
- A background that provides a strong understanding of the e-commerce business
- Experience in Merchandising, Planning, Controlling, E-commerce, Buying, or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of driving commercial results
- Experience working in digital environments using systems such as Centra, Fredhopper, ESCI, Contentsquare, google analytics and high proficiency in excel
- Professional-level English (spoken and written)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time temporary position based at our Head Office in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible.

In this role, you will have the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, approx. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaboration and teamwork.
