Summary
We are seeking a Medical Affairs Operations Lead to support the strategic and operational execution of activities across the organization. This role serves as the backbone of Medical Affairs at Cellcolabs, ensuring that plans are efficiently delivered, aligned with business goals, and compliant with regulations.
The work will require both an analytical mindset and excellent social skills, as it covers decisions about a range of topics from product development to partnership entry, as well as close collaboration with Cellcolabs' various teams including the management. As our Medical Affairs Operations Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in Cellcolabs' future growth!
Cellcolabs is a flat organization, and you will work closely with all other teams and colleagues of various backgrounds. You’ll be based at our head office in Campus Solna of Karolinska Institutet and report to our Chief of Medical Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of the Medical Affairs plan, including support for evidence generation, publications, and communication activities.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality in medical operations.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning efforts with stakeholders in the business, regulatory and clinical departments.
- Support the tracking and forecasting of Medical Affairs budgets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Medical Affairs activities, including publications and medical education programs.
- Ensure all medical activities are aligned with internal SOPs and external regulatory requirements (e.g., EFPIA, FDA, ABPI).
- Serve as business owner for relevant systems (e.g., CRM, medical content platforms).
- Manage approval workflows and documentation for promotional and non-promotional materials (e.g., via Veeva Vault).
- Coordinate and prepare for conferences and other events.
- Responsible for external vendors and agencies.
You’re a great fit for this role, if you:
- Hold a degree in natural sciences, engineering, public health or related field.
- Have at least 3 years experience in project management or relevant fields such as medical affairs or regulatory.
- Preferably a strong understanding of compliance in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. EFPIA, GxP).
- Have experience with planning tools such as publication planning systems or CRM platforms.
- Possess adaptability, resilience, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Have excellent communications skills, both written and oral in English, meritorious in Swedish as well.
- Experience in immunology or cell therapy is a plus.
