Assignment Description
We are seeking a Master Data Responsible to support a global team in managing processes for purchased components. In this role, you will assist with creating and maintaining material masters in SAP, ensuring they are correctly classified with essential data such as dimensions, capacity, voltage, frequency, weight, and more.
This task requires attention to detail and accuracy, as the team works with a range of data sources including datasheets, homepages, and occasionally, direct communication with suppliers.
Responsibilities
Material Master Creation: Receive global requests for material master creation via a request tool and classify materials in SAP based on provided criteria.
Data Classification: Assign appropriate UNSPSC-class and enter data related to the material’s technical specifications.
Data Gathering: Research component specifications using datasheets, websites, and supplier communications when necessary.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes for managing and classifying purchased components.
Required Skills
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of food processing components is preferred.
Master Data Management (MDM): Experience with Master Data Management processes.
IT System Competence: Practical experience with global business IT systems, preferably SAP.
Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and classify data accurately and efficiently.
Administration: Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Soft Skills
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in data entry and classification.

Additional Information
Equipment: The consultant is expected to bring their own equipment for the assignment.
Location: The consultant is expected to work primarily at the site in Lund, but remote work is possible on a limited basis.
Onboarding: A drug test is required before the assignment begins.
Language Requirements:
English: Proficient (spoken and written).
Swedish: Native or fluent is preferred.
