You bring experience developing multi-channel campaigns and confidence using automation tools to tailor donor journeys. The Role
The Individual Giving Manager will lead the development and execution of fundraising appeals and direct mail across multiple channels, with a focus on acquisition, retention and upgrade of entry and mid-level donors. This role is responsible for managing our direct mail campaigns, designing and executing effective donor engagement strategies, managing donor communications, and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the donor database. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role contributes to broader fundraising initiatives and supports the identification of potential major and bequest donors. It also involves regular reporting, campaign evaluation, and benchmarking to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.

- Growing and nurturing entry and mid-level donor relationships to increase value and longevity
- Designing tailored donor journeys using automation tools across email, SMS, social media, and more
- Managing and optimising the donor database to ensure accuracy, segmentation, and performance
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns
- Tracking KPIs, preparing reports, and contributing to forecasting and budget planning
- Identifying potential leads for major gifts and bequests within the existing donor base
- Benchmarking industry standards to implement best-practice fundraising approaches
- Representing the organisation with professionalism and warmth in all donor interactions
- Contributing to broader fundraising initiatives, events, and special projects

- Experienced in donor-centric fundraising and stakeholder engagement within the not-for-profit sector
- Skilled in developing multi-channel appeals and using digital tools to drive income
- Confident with automation software and creating tailored donor communication journeys
- Proficient in managing and analysing complex donor databases (experience with Raiser's Edge NXT desirable).
- Strong project management skills, able to meet deadlines independently or in teams
- Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about donor recognition and engagement
- Able to identify and cultivate philanthropic opportunities with energy and professionalism
