About the Role
Now, we’re looking for a Head of Finance & Strategy to own our financial backbone, drive key strategic projects, and partner with leadership to scale the company. This role reports directly to the CEO & Founder and will lead a lean finance team.
Beyond finance, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Wehype’s future — working on everything from monetization models and go-to-market strategies to challenging product priorities and unlocking new opportunities. We organize like a startup, which means we expect everyone to get their hands dirty across the field and lean in where impact matters most.
It’s a perfect opportunity for someone with ~5+ years of experience in high-performance environments who’s ready to take ownership with a growth path into a strategic CFO role.
What You’ll Do
- Own finance operations: reporting, controls, compliance, cash flow, audits.
- Drive FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, actionable insights.
- Lead strategic projects together with the CEO and leadership team.
- Partner with commercial & product teams to model pricing and optimize business models.
- Oversee legal, governance, and investor reporting.
- Build scalable systems & processes that help us grow faster and smarter.
- Lead and develop a lean finance team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in fast-growth, high-performance environments (startup, scaleup, tech, consulting, or finance).
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset - but pragmatic and execution-driven.
- Collaborative, low-ego, and ambitious - thrives in ambiguity and loves solving problems.
- Experience working cross-department on needle-moving projects at high pace.
