About the role
As Finance Business Partner you will have a significant role in our Product & Tech team. You will play a pivotal role in increasing business insights via improved understanding of operational business data as well as being a finance representative to the Product organization. This role is primarily focused on the Messaging area of Sinch, which encompasses multiple sub products such as Global SMS, P2P and Operator Software. In this role, you will partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner for the Messaging area and you will support the product organization in terms of both ad hoc and recurring analysis.
In this role you will play an important part of the team and in shaping the support for the Product area Messaging within our Product Finance function. This role is located at Sinch HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. You will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner for our Product area Messaging, who will be your team lead, while formally reporting to the VP of Product & Tech Finance.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform long term trend analysis on segments, markets, product, pricing, cost, volumes and various use cases
- Support budget, forecast and business planning
- Month end analysis. Support teams and management with regional result data and trend analysis by market/product/client
- Intra-month data analysis. Pick up and follow up on large changes to traffic, costs or revenue including customer reviews, destinations with appropriate teams
- Partner with Product leaders within the product area to drive achievement of financial and operational targets
- Conduct financial modelling to assess product profitability
- Deliver frequent and time sensitive ad hoc analyses including new business cases and new product launches, including pricing and profitability calculations
- Continuously work on improving our processes and daily tasks with the team
- Support in establishing financial benchmarks of competition and internal benchmarks
Requirements

You have excellent business modeling and data analytical skills and deep understanding of business drivers.
- Several years of proven experience in business control, analysis, consulting, or related roles. Ideally from a Telco or Tech company or complex global organization with large datasets.
- Ability to consolidate and interpret large datasets for decision making.
- Experience from working as a finance support function collaborating with business owners.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and variance analysis.
- Depth knowledge and understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced user in Excel.
- Experience in ERP systems, BI tools (Tableau) and Planning tools (Anaplan) is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required
