Brand licensing provides an alternative business model to in-house manufacturing, sourcing products, or using subscription models. We currently license about 14 brands in our 70+ brand portfolio, including Electrolux, AEG, Frigidaire and Zanussi.
Role Overview
The Licensing Specialist will be responsible for executing the marketing, packaging, and product approvals globally for the Global Brand Licensing program within Electrolux. The Licensing Specialist will be responsible for brand training for licensees and internal licensing team members, as well as participating in Brand Introduction Day presentations and executing Brand Audits. The Licensing Specialist will need to build strong relationships with all internal Electrolux stakeholders as well as external partners by responding to requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all product, packaging, and style guide approvals align with brand guidelines across multiple categories and regions.
Review, evaluate, and approve marketing collateral (print, digital, social media, branded content, campaigns, etc.).
Manage daily approvals for licensees within a 5-business day SLA, covering product, packaging, and marketing materials.
Partner with Business Areas and marketing teams to keep brand materials up to date for licensees.
Maintain accurate and current brand information in Brand Comply.
Provide brand training for internal licensing teams and external licensees.
Present at Brand Introduction Days and train licensees on the approval process and tools.
Execute the annual Brand Audit plan and conduct additional audits as required.
Respond to general approval, marketing, and brand information requests.
Support planning and execution of Business Area and Global Licensing Summits.
Liaise with licensing agencies to assist with product approvals and brand inquiries.
Collaborate with the Quality team and licensees to ensure brand integrity.
Share best practices and case studies regularly with the internal team.
Deliver quarterly analytical reports (e.g., approval volume, SLA performance, turnaround times).
Your Profile:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, drive, and ownership.
1+ years of experience in licensing, consumer products, marketing, or design (preferred).
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
