About the Role
We are looking for a Global HR Manager to take full ownership of our HR operations across multiple countries — driving both strategic and tactical people initiatives that enable business growth.
Based at our Stockholm office but occasional business trips to our other European offices, you will partner closely with executive leadership to provide forward-thinking HR guidance while also managing the day-to-day global HR operations. This role is ideal for someone with 4–7 years of experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoys having end-to-end accountability for all HR matters — from strategy to payroll to performance and compliance.
You will play a key role in shaping culture, scaling HR practices, and leading cost-efficient and people-centric solutions across our global teams.
The role is a manager position with a small remote team but requires a doer who thrives both with strategic topics and with hands on tasks.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to executive management, advising on organizational structure, talent strategies, and people development
- Lead and execute end-to-end HR operations globally, including Sweden, DACH, UK, and other regions
- Support leaders across functions with tactical and operational HR matters (recruitment, performance, benefits, compensation, employee relations)
- Design and implement HR policies, handbooks, and compliance frameworks across countries
- Drive and execute cost-reduction or efficiency programs while maintaining team engagement
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, contracts, and HRIS management
- Maintain a strong focus on culture, retention, and scaling people processes for growth
- Stay updated on labor laws in relevant countries and ensure compliance
- Act as the main point of contact for all global HR matters, managing local providers and consultants where needed
Requirements
- 4–7 years of HR Manager or HRBP experience with international/multi-country exposure
- Experience working in a startup or scaleup environment where agility and structure-building go hand in hand
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, labor law basics (especially in Europe), and people operations
- Previous experience driving or supporting cost-saving initiatives or org changes
- Excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing; a trusted partner to leadership and employees alike
- Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
Nice to Have
- High familiarity with HR platforms/tools
- Background in SaaS, tech, or fast-scaling global companies
- Experience in setting up HR in new countries or building scalable HR frameworks from scratch
- Training in coaching, facilitation, or leadership development is a bonus
