Ecom Trading Director
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

This role is key in driving the commercial performance at Ideal of Sweden.
You will lead the marketing team, including Paid Performance, Owned Marketing (CRM /
Influencer marketing/ Affiliate), and the E-Commerce team. Along with your team, you will
ensure optimal deployment of marketing assets to maximise revenue and profitability in the E-
Commerce channel.
In addition to leading the marketing team, you will be responsible for the daily E-commerce
P&L, including full budget accountability for the sales channel and marketing spend. You will
also be responsible for maintaining the commercial calendar and executing potential
deviations.
You will be responsible for a revenue budget of approximately 300 MSEK and a marketing
spending budget of 90 MSEK. The marketing spending is divided mainly between our top 3
Paid Marketing Channels: Meta (55%), Google (20%), and TikTok (15%).

Responsibilities
- Commercial Calendar (launch and campaign plan):
- Ensure that the Commercial Calendar is being maintained and adjusted for
and/or product launches
- E-commerce P&L and Budget:
- Responsible for E-commerce P&L and daily follow-up on performance and
- Paid & Owned Marketing Management:
- Create the channel strategy and lead the teams to deliver this strategy
- Lead the Paid & Owned teams, ensuring that the end-to-end customer
- Manage and optimise data and performance-driven campaigns – tweaking
- Optimise and follow up KPIs based on campaign types, placements and
- Conduct AB testing and approach with an experimental mindset to identify
- Use quantitative campaign performance data to feed back to the creative teams
- Test growth hacking opportunities to inform future revenue-driving marketing
- E-commerce:
- Ensure that daily operations run smoothly and that the site is always open
- Making sure that the e-commerce platform is updated to reflect the Ideal 2.0
- Re-Merchandising of e-commerce platform with an improved customer journey
- Ensure that the e-commerce strategy is aligned with the overall company
- Ensure the e-commerce platform is fit for purpose and compliant with all
- Performance Review:
- Implement a robust campaign performance review process, providing
foundation for daily decision-making
- Provide an output that can be used to contribute to the overall campaign review
- Team development:
- Create an open culture where constructive feedback is part of the continuous
- Ensure the team is consistently upskilled as tools develop rapidly, including. AI
Essential Characteristics
- 7+ years in a commercial trade and marketing function within D2C (Ecom)
- Previous experience in operating e-commerce and paid marketing channels, such as
- Strong cross-functional skills
- Analytical with a curious mindset
- A strong commercial mindset
- Able to swiftly convert analysis into action and to effectively prioritise workload for the
- A team player with great communication skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ideally, a degree in business or similar field
