Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and global merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, we solve the most strategic problems for our clients.
The Nordics and Baltics (N&B) Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for issuers, acquirers, ecosystem entities and merchants in the region. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability.
Our team is seeking a Consulting Manager based in Stockholm to join our strategy consulting practice. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of high-impact projects for our clients in the N&B region. As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with our clients across various regions to deliver effective solutions. Your focus will be on initiating strategies that promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby solidifying Visa's position as both a preferred brand and an exceptional business partner.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Typical projects may include:
· Supporting card issuers expand or increase market share in consumer market.
· Helping craft go-to-market strategies for our global merchants
· Helping credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers.
· Helping retailers increase their market and customer knowledge and drive additional sales
· Optimizing revenues in a financial institution payments business.
What we expect of you, day to day.
· Identify new potential opportunities with large banks/financial institutions, merchants and other players in the ecosystem.
· Identify solutions and useful insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios
· Lead strategic important consulting engagement for our key clients, focusing on driving high-impact results
· Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., sales and solutions, marketing, sales, risk, innovation, products) and across global regional teams to complete projects in ways that demonstrate the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
· Proactively engage with Visa leaders in regular strategic & planning discussions; nurture and manage a pipeline of work with FIs (Financial Institutions).
· Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
Qualifications
What we're after..
· Previous experience in management consulting or similar role at Banks/FIs
· Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting return on investment and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to convey a clear message to clients and the business
· Ability to tackle business problems through data driven methodologies and proficiency in some innovative analytic and business intelligence tools
· Self-motivated, results oriented individual that can handle numerous projects concurrently
· Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills.
· Curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applications
