We are looking for a new colleague to join us as Nordic Procurement Category Manager in Global Procurement Nordic.
You will play a key role in developing and managing Telenor’s Procurement strategies in the area of Markets and Indirect serving stakeholders especially in the markets divisions in the Nordic Business Units in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Markets and Indirect is a broad and challenging area covering a diverse portfolio of services within Professional services including: Financial services, Customer Care, Media and Advertising, Logistics, Facility Management, mobile related services, CPE (customer premises equipment) among others.
The Nordic Markets&Indirect team is cooperating with Telenor Procurement Company, TPC, as One team in Telenor’s global organization, Nordic Procurement and TPC are part of Global Procurement within Telenor Group.

As Procurement Category Manager you are responsible for proactive handling of sub-categories together with relevant stakeholders in Telenor Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark and the Nordic Functions and in close cooperation with Telenor Procurement Company
Important elements of the position:
- Understand business priorities of your key stakeholders and how those affect procurement strategies for relevant area
- Securing compliance to all company policies when engaging with suppliers in RFX processeses
- Secure well- functioning processes between stakeholders and global procurement, balancing local customer needs towards global scale
- Prepare – and execute on procurement strategy and suitable commercial models within different services/categories through close collaboration with your key stakeholders and support functions (legal, security, sustainability)
- Ensure implementation of agreements:
- including contract governance ensuring periodic follow up of supplier during contract period by contract owner
- enable contract in ERP system (Coupa) to ensure realization of savings and other negotiated benefits
- Support the key stakeholders in case of commercial disputes with partners
- Continuously seek efficiency opportunities within your area of responsibility, both in procurement process and post-contracting phase
- Manage the interface towards the Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) in Singapore and secure efficient communication (single point of contact) between stakeholders and Procurement.

Some qualifications that we would look for in an application are:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in business, telecom, economics or similar
- At least 2 years of experience from procurement/purchasing, negotiating large agreements
- Fluent in English and Swedish, written and oral, is an advantage
