At SSC, we design and operate IT systems that support everything from satellite control to advanced space research. We're now looking for an AWS Solution Architect who can bridge strategy and execution, someone who loves turning complex needs into scalable, secure, and elegant AWS architectures.

YOUR ROLE

As AWS Solution Architect, you’ll be the design authority for AWS-based solutions across SSC. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure our cloud systems are robust, compliant, and built for the future.

What you’ll do

• Design AWS cloud architectures that support business and mission-critical systems

• Create design documents, reference architectures, and architectural decision records

• Drive architectural alignment across teams and initiatives

• Consult on security, networking, and cost optimization best practices

• Support proof-of-concept efforts and cloud migrations

• Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps engineers on cloud-native solutions

• Participate in our IT governance and architecture forums

• Stay up to date with AWS services and emerging patterns

• Hands-on skills in such as scripting etc.
  • Terraform/terragrunt
  • CloudFormation

WHO YOU ARE

You're passionate about good design, pragmatic about technology choices, and always ready to explain "why" something matters. You're able to zoom out to architecture and zoom in to the CLI when needed. You are a systems thinker with a hands-on mindset, combining structure and method with flexibility and openness. You are also skilled at navigating stakeholder needs and building strong collaborations across teams, as well as communicating clearly and confidently in both Swedish and English.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud-based architectures, at least 3 with AWS

• Strong understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and security

• Experience with Well-Architected Framework and cloud governance

• Solid grasp of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps principles

• Great communication and documentation skills

We value experience with:

• AWS certification(s)

• Experience with multi-account governance and Control Tower

• Background in regulated or high-security environments
