Our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory team assists companies in every step of a capital market journey. We work closely together with our clients and help them identify, design and implement value added solutions whether it is in the phase of IPO preparations, IPO execution, spin-offs, transactions or ensuring that capital markets expectations and requirements are met on a regular basis when operating as a listed company.
We advise our customers in a wide range of areas such as corporate governance, risk management, internal control, financial management, operational excellence, internal and external information, information security and IT, transaction accounting and financial reporting as well as sustainability reporting and governance.
CMAA is growing and as we are continuing to expand our established Nordic team in Stockholm we are seeking an Assistant Director/Director who is looking to take the next transformative career step. In this pivotal role, you will take active part in business development, driving growth and innovation while delivering exceptional client services. How you will contribute
As an Assistant Director/Director within our CMAA team, you will provide advice and support in the following areas:
- Development of future-proof, highly digital and efficient finance organizations
- Financial planning and follow-up processes (target setting, KPIs, business planning, budgeting and internal monthly reporting follow-up)
- Governance and internal control structures (as required of a listed company)
- ESG and sustainability readiness - CSRD, governance and organizational structuring, processes and reporting
- Project management (incl. questions pertaining to processes, requirements and filings in connection with IPOs, capital raisings, carve-outs and other national and international capital markets transactions).
You will also:
- Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
- Contribute to and lead capital markets projects
- Contribute to and lead business development initiatives
- Contribute and lead external marketing and sales initiatives
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or Law - Bachelors or Masters degree
- At least 5 years working experience from capital markets transaction advisory services, management consulting or risk/internal control advisory
- Experience within audit or advisory services at a leading consultancy firm
- Experience from working within a finance organization (Finance Operations, FP&A, Accounting or Treasury) is considered to be highly meriting
- Strong project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to assimilate easily into teams
- Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building a strong relationship with clients
- Excellent consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills
- High energy with commitment to quality client service, focusing on ensuring positive resolutions to conflicts
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High proficiency in English and Swedish (both written and orally) is essential. Other European languages are highly desirable.
