A dynamic role in a unique IT landscape where you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Application Virtualization domain. Leveraging your deep technical knowledge and strategic insight, you will drive direction and excellence across projects and development initiatives throughout Stena Group IT.
Your responsibilities will include Life Cycle Management, with a focus on complex cases that demand advanced expertise. You will review and validate key deliverables, such as design specifications, technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and project plans, to ensure they meet high standards from a subject matter perspective and provide business value to our wide array of Stena companies.
As an expert in the Application Virtualization field, you will also play a vital role in supporting the Service Desk with technical guidance, while mentoring junior colleagues and Level 2 SMEs to help develop their competence and confidence. By staying current with industry trends and best practices, and collaborating closely with teams across Group IT, you will help ensure the successful implementation, performance, and evolution of our IT solutions.
About you
We are looking for you that are communicative and can provide specialized expertise while effectively communicating technical information with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are analytical with attention to details and have a structured way of working and the ambition to automate. You are curious about your subject and are good at finding solutions through innovative ideas.
You have proven experience (minimum 5 years) working with user demands, IT infrastructure, and Application Virtualization management and possess deep skills in:
- Microsoft products: Windows Client OS, Windows Server OS, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Client & Server Security Hardening, Configuration Manager, Windows Patch Management, Application Distribution Management, Applocker, Powershell (PS), Azure cloud services, Active Directory and EntraID, Group Policy, and Certificate services. Also, knowledge of Windows RDS License Server, Azure Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) and Windows 365.
- Citrix technologies: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Storefront, Citrix Cloud, Citrix Cloud Connector, Citrix App Layering, Citrix DFS, Citrix Federated Authentication Service (FAS), Virtual Delivery Agent and Network Policy Server (NPS). Also, knowledge of Vmware ESX.
- Tools & Methodologies: Azure DevOps, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
You must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English to successfully communicate technical information within our business. Proficiency in Swedish is a big plus, as some of our customers use Swedish as their corporate language.
