WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for Store Designers to join our Retail experience function at H&M on a temporary contract. As part of our team, you help us realize store projects all over the world, through collaboration with many brilliant colleagues, reflected in high-quality design solutions and commercial plans based on customer needs and behaviors. You will:
- Effectively collaborate to project-specific research about customer and project objectives, including some analytical tasks connected to the brand’s commercial plans
- Create and/or review architectural and interior design packages as well as construction documents for various types of projects
- Ensure strong communication with multiple project teams, contractors, consultants, and local H&M Group teams
- Provide on brand solutions to resolve technical and design challenges
- Ensure the timely issuing of all the deliveries connected with the projects.
- Follow up on your projects and take ownership of analysing both successes and learnings.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with....
- A bachelors degree and a background in Architecture or Interior design with the desire to be a part of driving the success of H&M further
- An overall understanding and experience of spatial development, from conceptual work to full scale detailing,
- A great interest in fashion and retail and a genuine interest in retail and the possibilities within our industry
- Around 2-6 years of working experience within the area of commercial/retail architecture or interior design, with a focus on layout design and planning. International work experience or education is a plus.
- A good understanding of the various stages of real estate projects, from initiation to completion and follow-up, i.e. exploration, negotiation, the building of business cases, approval stages, design, ordering, and construction
- Proficiency in Revit is mandatory, Autocad knowledge is a plus
- Strong project management skills, ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously with great presentation skills
- The ability to travel
