The position:Central Tech is our core technology team and we innovate in areas that push the boundaries for what open-world sandbox gaming means as well as improve, optimize, and support our existing core technology. In this role, you will help develop, champion, and communicate the product vision with the management and director groups to build and maintain a strong team spirit and a highly collaborative, productive environment.
You will be primarily responsible for monitoring the progress of cross-disciplined teams and maintaining the schedule and backlog. Your work in coordinating resources and goals alongside the PO and discipline leads will ensure the successful completion of milestones and deliveries.
What you’ll do:
- Take responsibility for the team’s deliverables.
- Act as a point of contact for the project, you’ll manage the collaboration with our intern central tech teams and external teams, coordinating our efforts to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Actively assess and manage risks, issues and dependencies that could impact team execution, mitigating or elevating them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Directors and PO’s to prioritize and plan the team’s work effectively.
- Take charge of building an effective team, ensuring the right competencies are in place to achieve the team's goals.
- Be responsible for building an effective team. This involves dealing with conflicts, providing feedback, and conducting 1:1’s.
- Champion company and Central Tech guidelines and processes within the team.
Who you are:
- A seasoned Technical Project Manager in the tech or gaming industry.
- Skilled in risk and operational management, with a keen eye for identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience in leading and motivating agile development teams where coaching and mentoring towards success are part of your leadership style.
- Extensive knowledge in Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Experience with working and coordinating with external departments.
- Experience managing remote and distributed teams.
- Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate goals, give and receive feedback and requests in a clear, concise manner to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative spirit.
