We are proud to serve a growing list of international customers and now we are looking for a Key Account Manager with strong technical acumen to grow relationships and business with our existing customers. This will be achieved by helping our customers grow their business through leveraging our latest developments, new product ideas, bringing co-manufacturing opportunities, and developing the technical service and support scope that we provide to them.
This is a strategic and operational key customer-facing role where you will act as a trusted technology and commercial advisor — helping customers stay up to date on our latest innovations, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring mutual long-term success through development and implementation of joint business plans.
This is what you’ll do:
- Build and manage a pipeline of business development opportunities with existing customers, focusing on capacity expansions, retrofits, and transitions to new Micvac technology generations.
- Present the technical and commercial case for system upgrades, translating improvements into clear ROI and business value.
- Collaborate with customers to develop and execute joint business plans that drive capacity utilization, growth, and recurring packaging sales.
- Identify co-manufacturing opportunities and inspire category expansion through new product and recipe ideas that help customers maximize their production capacity.
- Cultivate strong relationships across customer organizations — from production teams to senior decision-makers — to stay close to evolving needs and unlock new opportunities.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing structured feedback to product, engineering, and service teams to enhance Micvac’s overall offer.
- Monitor customer engagement and performance KPIs, using a data-driven approach to proactively identify risks and prioritize growth initiatives.
- Work with internal teams to strengthen our aftermarket offer — improving spare parts, service contracts, and preventive maintenance to ensure recurring revenue.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in Customer Success or Account Management in technical B2B sales.
- Proven track record in managing strategic customer relationships and growing key accounts.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
- Engineering or science background with a solid understanding of complex systems is a big advantage.
- Extraverted personality and capability to articulate our value proposition to the widest range of audience, from C suite to the factory floor workers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to navigate both operational and executive-level discussions.
- Comfortable with technical solutions and confident explaining new equipment or system features.
- Highly organized with a proactive approach to managing customer interactions.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
