You will be part of the senior management team and you will report directly to the CEO at Sigma Connectivity AB.

Job description

As Head of Production Technology you will have the overall responsibility to build our offering to the market, define what markets we target and figure out how we create sales in this area. We provide solutions to our customers as well as run Industrialization projects for specific products, that may be developed by our engineering teams or by someone else.

Part of our Production Technology offering and capability is also a prototype lab where we can produce, conduct RCA and repair advanced electronic prototypes in smaller series.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

As Head of Production Technology you will lead two sections. There will be two managers and a team of experts reporting to you. You will be responsible for building our Production Technology business as well as managing the day to day operations. You have access to sales people in 5-6 markets that you can work with to develop these markets.

As part of the Management team, you will be a part of setting the direction for our business. You will drive both business development and operations.

You have a positive attitude, strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience from organizations delivering in project structures. You will have documented experience leading people, building teams, and setting structures and processes.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for:

• Someone who can build our Production Technology offering globally.
• A person that can analyze the market, create a Go To Market plan and execute that plan.
• A person that can lead a highly motivated team that consists of both very experienced engineers as well as young and ambitious engineers.
• The person that has the business mind to develop this business area covering aspects as market analysis, market selection, business models and strategy execution.
• Someone that can sell our offering to customers in selected markets and that can secure that we have all needed to delivery what we promise.

Basic Qualifications

• A track record of providing manufacturing solutions to producing companies.
• Management experience.
• Know-how in selling complex solutions.
• Master of Science or equivalent education.

Required experience

• 10-20 years of experience within product development, Industrialization or electronics manufacturing.
• Experienced, confident, and proven leadership in an international context.
• Knowledge of the electronics manufacturing industry and its trends.
• People management, leading and motivating others.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities and solutions.
• Business development.
• Superior communication and presenting abilities - in writing, listening, and speaking.

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience

• We think that in order to succeed you are a selling person that understands what it takes to deliver manufacturing solutions to customers.
• You have a business mind as well as a good understanding of electronics manufacturing.
• An agile mind that can adjust to project changes and a rapidly changing technology and geopolitical landscape.
